My Letter to Trump supporters

Dennis, (a radio ranter) I wonder how sincere you are. Your approach is similar to Glen Beck, who has built a large audience and made millions of dollars shouting crap. You know that if some kid goes to school he is not 'invading'. You know that the job market was losing 750,000 jobs a month under Bush and you know that under Obama we have had 72 straight months of positive job growth - more months than any other time in our history! You know that the stock market was in the pits because of the Wall Street cheaters and now it's super high and businesses are making record profits. You know that over 25 million people have health care who never had it before. You know that the Affordable Care Act is not a job killer - or we wouldn't have such job growth. You complain that insurance rates are going up every year - as if it wasn't increasing every year for more than 10 years and now the rate of increase has gone down. You also know that the Republicans, who are no fans of Trump, have refused to do anything to correct and improve the Affordable Care Act and have voted over 59 times to repeal it - knowing that it was just a symbolic vote and would be meaningless. I am sure you are not so stupid as to think the Wall is needed to protect us from rapists. You know - because you care about such things - the truth about illegal border crossings; the border patrols have increased more than threefold under Obama; the net increase of people crossing has gone down so much that it is at its smallest number in years; that Obama has deported more people than the last few Presidents combined; and that Trump cannot deport 11 million people - it's a stupid idea that would hurt the economy tremendously - assuming Congress would give him the money. You know that insulting all sorts of people, religions and foreign leaders is not a good idea for a President to do. That doesn't increase respect for America, just the opposite. In fact, you probably know that many countries are upset at Trump's ideas; it isn't something to take lightly, after all the President has to deal with the World on behalf of you and me. Not to mention getting what WE want. You will be surprised to learn that I am not defending Obama! What I have discussed are facts. Not theories! Obama, like all Presidents, has made a lot of mistakes, done things I violently disagree with, but also done some good things too. Nixon was a progressive when it came to civil rights and George W. Bush stood at the World Trade Center with Muslims telling America that they should not blame them for the actions of a few fanatics. You may prefer Trump to anyone else but you are stirring up nasty attitudes which is not doing Trump any good if you want him to be President, The more you stir things up, the more it hurts Trump in a bid for the White House.
